[Developer’s Note] Thank You for the Service Transfer 1st Anniversary and an Update on October and November

Hello, Masters.

This is Hyunmoon Soo, Producer of OUTERPLANE.

First, I would like to sincerely thank every Master who took part in our Service Transfer 1st Anniversary pre-registration event and enjoyed the content we prepared.

This October, we prepared a range of events and content to celebrate the first anniversary of OUTERPLANE’s service transfer.

The development team is especially happy to see so many of you enjoying our newest hero, [Demiurge Lambda]. Your interest and affection continue to mean a great deal to us.

Today, I would like to thank you for joining our Service Transfer 1st Anniversary events and share an update on our development schedule.

■ Service Transfer 1st Anniversary Pre-Registration Event Rewards

For the Service Transfer 1st Anniversary pre-registration event, we prepared a series of milestone missions with a final goal of 300,000 participants.

Although we did not reach that final goal, the support from all the Masters who celebrated the anniversary and participated in the event has meant a great deal to us.

As a token of our gratitude, we have decided to distribute all of the pre-registration event’s mission rewards, regardless of whether the milestones were reached.

Thank you once again for all the interest and support you have shown OUTERPLANE.

■ Development Schedule Changes and the Delay of Resonance Hanbyul Lee

Next, I have some disappointing news to share about our development schedule.

The development team has been working to a tight schedule to deliver new heroes and content in line with the roadmap we shared following the service transfer.

However, as we develop multiple pieces of content while also supporting the live game, some tasks have taken longer than expected. This has led to repeated delays to the schedules we announced.

I sincerely apologize to all the Masters who have been waiting for us to deliver on our promises.

We have also had to postpone the release of our new hero, [Resonance Hanbyul Lee], which we had been preparing for the October 20 update.

We are sorry to everyone who has been looking forward to Resonance Hanbyul Lee. We will announce the revised release schedule as soon as it is confirmed.

■ A New Minigame

We, too, are very disappointed that the release of Resonance Hanbyul Lee has been delayed.

For the October 20 update, we have instead prepared a lighthearted minigame for you to enjoy: [Thump, Thump! Moon Bunny's Mill].

In this rhythm minigame, you will pound rice cakes to the beat alongside [Demiurge Lambda] in her moon bunny outfit. We created it to offer a different way to enjoy OUTERPLANE outside of the usual battles.

You can play as many times as you like during the event, and claim the daily participation reward once per day.

Participate once a day for 10 days to collect all of the cumulative daily participation rewards. You can also take on separate PERFECT clear missions on EASY, NORMAL, and HARD to earn titles.

Achieving a PERFECT clear on EASY earns the [Easy2DB] title, NORMAL earns [Rhythm Heaven], and HARD earns [Pound It Up].

You can also earn the [Thump, Thump!] Profile Frame by completing 10 minigame missions.

For Masters familiar with rhythm games, we have also prepared EXTREME difficulty. EXTREME is designed for those who enjoy a challenge, and clearing it is not required to obtain the main rewards.

Please enjoy the minigame at a difficulty that feels comfortable for you. If you are confident in your rhythm game skills, we hope you will give EXTREME a try as well.

■ Returning Limited Heroes and Balance Adjustments for Kitsune of Eternity Tamamo-no-Mae

Previously released Limited Heroes will return in sequence from October 20 through the end of November.

The October 20 update will begin with the return of the 3rd Anniversary Limited Hero [Midnight Rush Skadi] and the Halloween Limited Hero [Kitsune of Eternity Tamamo-no-Mae].

Since her release, Midnight Rush Skadi has remained a popular hero thanks to her strong performance and appealing design. She continues to perform well across a range of content, so we hope this will be a good opportunity for Masters who have not yet recruited her.

Kitsune of Eternity Tamamo-no-Mae was previously used in content such as Adventure License and Guild Raid.

With the end of Adventure License, Tamamo-no-Mae has lost one of her places to shine. To coincide with her return, we have therefore given her an additional balance buff.

We have adjusted her overall effects to make her useful in a wider range of content, particularly against Water-element bosses in Dimensional Singularity.

We hope you will try the newly adjusted Tamamo-no-Mae in a variety of content.

■ A New Area in Origin Story Season 4

The October 20 update will also add Area 3, [Confusion], to Origin Story Season 4.

You can enjoy a new story on Normal difficulty and challenge more powerful bosses on Hard. Area completion rewards and Guide Quests will also be added.

Origin Story Season 4 is planned to include at least six areas. We are working toward releasing the remaining areas at intervals of approximately one and a half months.

We will continue preparing the remaining areas so that you can keep enjoying OUTERPLANE’s story.

■ OUTERPLANE’s 3.5th Anniversary in November

This November, OUTERPLANE will celebrate three and a half years of service.

This year, we have been preparing for the Service Transfer 1st Anniversary in October and the 3.5th Anniversary in November back to back.

As we prepared both anniversary updates within a short period, we feel that we have not been able to include as much content as you may have hoped for on each occasion.

We are sorry that we have not been able to offer a fuller lineup of content.

Even so, we are preparing the return of three previously released Festival Limited Heroes, along with various rewards to celebrate the 3.5th Anniversary.

We hope this will be a good opportunity for Masters who have not yet recruited those Festival Limited Heroes. We will do our best in the time remaining to make this an enjoyable anniversary for you.

■ Our Development Schedule Going Forward

Since the service transfer, the development team has continued working to deliver the roadmap we shared with you.

However, with our current team, balancing improvements to existing content, new content and character development, and support for the live game has led to repeated delays in some areas.

We know that these circumstances do not excuse our failure to meet the schedules we promised. Having shared our roadmap and announced those schedules, we believe it is our responsibility as a development team to work to keep those commitments.

Going forward, we will review development progress more closely and work to provide schedules you can rely on.

We will also do our best to deliver the new content planned for November and December and bring 2026 to a meaningful close.

■ Closing

I would like to sincerely thank every Master who continues to spend time with us in OUTERPLANE.

A year has already passed since the service transfer.

Despite the many changes and our shortcomings along the way, your continued interest and affection have made it possible for us to keep the game going.

We will always remember that your support is something we must never take for granted.

We will keep working hard to make OUTERPLANE a game you enjoy, and to consistently provide quality content and a stable service.

Please take care of yourselves as the seasons change. We hope you will continue to share your interest in and support for OUTERPLANE.

Thank you.

Sincerely, Hyunmoon Soo
